And so concludes Chapter 2 of Jam and the Solutions, which means the comic is going back on hiatus for a while. I don’t know yet quite when Chapter 3 will start up, but it won’t be right away. There’s work, there’s the other, more G-rated project in the early stages, and there’s recreating the art again before I start new pages.
One way or another, the DAZ-based figures are going away. They should have gone away for Chapter 2. Either I’ll create new figures from scratch myself, more cartoony ones that will fit better with how I want this to look, or, and this is what I’m leaning towards at the moment, perhaps I’ll manage to find an actual artist and do away with the amateur-hour CGI. We shall see.
Then there’s figuring out the plot. I knew everything that was going to happen in the first two chapters before I started Chapter 1, but I only have a general outline of what’s going to happen in Chapter 3. I do know the story will pick up about eight months after the five-day period covered in Chapters 1 and 2.
